What Is The Survivor’s Compass?

The Survivor’s Compass method is a self-directed, step-by-step program for harnessing the power of the mind to create positive feelings and actions.

The method begins with learning the concept of an “authentic Self,” the part of you that directs your path to healing and achieving your highest potential.

Self-directed techniques for accessing this higher Self are a part of the method.

The training seeks to put Self in the seat of consciousness (driver’s seat), as opposed to wounded parts of the psyche, the “trauma voice.”

The method consists of four powerful tools – The Pool Meditation, True Connection, Silence and Listening, and Reframing Core Beliefs.

Through practice and daily use of these tools, you can change your thoughts, experience the positive emotions that you crave, and harness the power of your mind for healing.

What is Self?

Self is calm and peaceful, loving and open, compassionate and kind, curious and courageous, creative, connected and confident. Self is the source of infinite wisdom, clarity, consciousness, our deepest Being, ever growing and ever evolving. The goal is to get Self in the “seat of consciousness,” to become Self-led.

The Pool Meditation

“I used that meditation last night before dinner and fell asleep for half an hour. It was amazing! The best sleep I’ve had in weeks. Then I slept really well all night too. Thank you SO MUCH!” —Tess

Troubleshooting the Pool Meditation: Some people get anxious imagining themselves dropping through a pool of water. If you feel threatened by this, simply tell yourself “this is magic water and I can breathe down here.”
